Todd Powell has been working as a freelance commercial photographer since graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Photography in 1983.

In 1986 he moved to Summit County, Colorado to pursue travel and adventure sports photography and live in the Colorado Rocky mountains.

Todd has photographed people, adventure sports and travel for advertising, magazine and corporate publication around the world during his 20+ year career as a publication photographer.

The motivation for his photography comes from his life time love of the outdoors and a desire to explore and share different perspectives of it with the viewer.

In 2001, Todd began to offer select prints of his photography from his extensive collection at art festivals and galleries around the region and eventually the country.

In 2006, Todd opened his own gallery on Main Street, Frisco, Colorado featuring his photography. Prints are available ranging in size from the 7" x 7" framed mini collection all the way up to 10 foot long panoramics. Todd enjoys working with his clients to find the right image, finish and framing to suit their individual homes and ofices.

Todd continues to explore Colorado and the mountain lifestyle through his personal vision and enthusiastically shares his imagery with collectors and clients around the country.

In 2007, Todd was voted the "Best Artist" in the Summit Daily News "Best of Summit" annual review.

His personal interests and passion shows in the subject matter of the adventure sports and scenes that he photographs. He cycles, telemark skis, and hikes regularly in his free time.
